How far out of place can you expect to find Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band?
I’ll tell ya’ Strangely enough I found myself in front of Mr. Peyton’s band while at Van’s warped tour in Southern California.
The Vans Warped tour is all about Emo, Metal, Punk and Ska music. I was surely pleased to see the likes of our friendly hick band showing these kids a thing or two about spanking some tunes out of an ol’ Dobro and Washboard.
These are a wild bunch that surely know how to have fun. I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to talk to them back stage, and they are as down to earth as you could ever hope for.
I surely hope to cross paths with this trio again. I have never heard a Dobro, washboard and a 5 gallon paint bucket sound so good!
