Musical Instruments: Not Your Typical Luggage
Musical instruments are not built to be casually tossed into the baggage compartment of an airplane. They are much too delicate and valuable, and in many cases, their uniqueness makes them irreplaceable. The American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada (AFM) is hard at work pushing a bill through Congress that will allow musicians to carry their instruments onboard any airplane. In this video, AFM International President Thomas F. Lee explains the challenges surrounding this complicated issue, and asks for your support to ensure a uniform national carry-on policy.
