WILL KIMBROUGH shares insight on his upcoming “Wings” release. Released FEB. 23rd, 2010. “The songs on “Wings” (See Below) Will Kimbrough started his musical career with Will & the Bushmen, a popular college band in the eighties that produced a handful of albums and singles and made it to MTV. He then went on to form the Bis-quits with long-time buddy Tommy Womack. The Bis-quits produced a self titled album which was released on John Prine’s Oh-Boy label.
Kimbrough is a producer and sought after side man producing and played for Adrienne Young, Rodney Crowell, Todd Snider, Kate Campbell, Kim Richey, Garrison Starr, Matthew Ryan, and Josh Rouse.
Will K teamed up with Tommy Womack, John Deaderick, Dave Jacques and the afore mentioned Paul Griffith in 2005 to create the five piece band Daddy. They recorded a live album in Frankfort, Kentucky Daddy at the Women’s Club. They then went on to release an album pragmatically titled, “For A Second Time”, last year, reaching number one in The Euro Americana Charts and receiving wide spread acclaim and airplay across both continents. Will teams up with Tommy for an acoustic Daddy this May in The UK. (Dates Below)

Will invites the listener to comprehend the universe with a modern introspective eye, the music is based in classic folk rock, with touches of atmospheric guitar, cello, saxophone, trumpet, banjo, hammond organ. The bedrock of the album, besides the quality of the songs themselves, exploring themes surrounding the conflict between family and career, love and work, parents and children, is the rhythm section of drummer Paul Griffith and bassist Tim Marks” Will explains .
“THREE ANGELS” “This is Country and Eastern, based around a bluegrass riff with a flatted fifth. Julie Lee took it to another place with her vocals. David Henry and I let her explore and she made the track blossom, and bloom as it should”.
Will teams up with Tommy for an acoustic Daddy UK Tour this May in The UK. (Dates Below) Daddy On Tour in the UK
