This Week on the Sunday Ramble:
Willie Nile made a triumphant return to The Stone Pony last night in Asbury Park for the release of his 10th Studio recording the self deprecatingly titled “World War Willie”. We’ll have tracks off that brand new release as well as Parker Millsap‘s new record from last weekend “The Very Last Day” and the brand new release by the British R&B group, The Heavy.
Opening the show for Willie Nile last night in Asbury Park was a great Roots Rock band, Hollis Brown. We’ll have some of their music, including a duet with Nikki Lane.To get you fired up for Friday night’s Rent Party in Maplewood, we’ll have music from two of the acts, The Porchistas and Elk City, both of which have had several releases in recent years. The Penniless Loafers are also on the bill. For more info go to Rentpartylive.com
