Snir Yamin has been one of my favorite music-discoveries this year. His brilliant EP Concrete City which you can buy digitally (And mind you a stunning limited edition vinyl at shows), has prominently put him on the radar for me as well as others in 2016. I had the pleasure of seeing Yamin play the first in a handful (with more to come!)
East Coast dates for the Fall, and to say I was impressed is an understatement. On stage, Yamin shines through with his elegant vocals, and vibrant guitar. The showgoers seemed to enjoy themselves as well, as they listened intently on his every word. Yamin displayed a number of songs from Concrete City, which he poured out his heart and soul on the stage. Though the set was only 5 songs (more please!), we blissfully saw him play key tracks such as “Falling Down the Hill,” and “Concrete City,” while the acoustic came out for “You and I.”
Snir Yamin takes the stage again in New York City, tomorrow night at Arlene’s Grocery. Go out and hear what all the buzz is about and discover your new favorite artist of 2016.
