In the world of music there are many different influencers; those breaking out of the perceived ‘norm,’ and creating a name for themselves, with music that is true to their heart. This is exactly the case with upcoming duo, Fly Never Dies, who currently hail from California.
Years of artistic endeavors and honing their work, the unstoppable musical partnership of Eric Haywood and Jay Crockett aka “Trew,” are set to take the world by storm. Unfamilar with the group until recently, their sound instantly captured my attention with the lead single “Love and the Stars,” that features the one-and-only, Casey Shea. About 10 seconds into the song, and Fly Never Dies already had me intrigued.
To my delight, the rest of the songs on their newly penned “The Love and the Stars,” EP also held their own. Each pieces offers a different sound, yet somehow, are able to come together to build a record that is very much cohesive. To note, the production and lyrics of the EP are magnificent. From the very beginning you can tell that Haywood and Trew have poured their very heart and souls into the record, pulling out all of the stops and then some.
