Randy Charlton is a 30+ year veteran of the music industry. Musician, vocalist, venue manager, concert promoter, artist manager and agent are just a sampling of the diverse career he is enjoying. Randy has worked with Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Supertramp and many other major rock acts. But his main passion lies in outlaw country, traditional country, roots rock and blues. Randy was long time manager to the late blind guitar hero Jeff Healey, and managed and booked both of Jeff's venues: Healey's and Jeff Healey's Roadhouse. He has promoted many concerts with Kris Kristofferson, Emmylou Harris, John Hiatt and many more. Randy was the first promoter to bring a young Steve Earle to Canada, was successful in getting Steve added to Toronto rock radio station Q107 and was the recipient of a Gold Record for Steve's album Guitar Town. He also has Gold and Platinum Records in Canada and a Gold Record for the USA for Jeff Healey's debut album See The Light. He was honoured with a Gold Record for the soundtrack album of the motion picture Road House. He is currently Venue manager and Talent Buyer for Toronto's legendary Sound Academy and The Phoenix Concert Theatre. Randy is a singer/guitarist/harmonica player who performs solo, as a duo with longtime friend Mickey Power and is lead vocalist for the band Stage Fright. He also plays as a sideman for other artists.
