Black Rebel Motorcycle Club- Exclusive preview of Shadow Keeper from the upcoming album

I'm a long time fan of the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club so I was excited when the folks at Vagrant Records offered us an exclusive stream of a song off their upcoming album, Beat The Devil's Tattoo, out March 9th.


The band will always hold a special place for me. We did a feature article on the them back in 2005 when Howl came out, but I was a fan even prior to that. I first saw them back in 2002 on the tour for their first album, B.R.M.C. I was nine months pregnant at the time and in the days leading up to the show I was hoping that my son would wait to arrive until after the show so I wouldn't miss it. He obliged and BRMC played a great set that night. After they finished I caught a couple songs of Spiritualized, who were headlining the show, and then hurried to a club across town to see another one of my favorites, Neil Halstead from the Mojave 3.

I fully enjoyed both shows and went home about 2am in early labor and my second son was born in a beautiful home water birth later that morning.

Looking forward to catching them again next Friday when they tour though Seattle, thankfully no baby will be following this time. (See a full list of tour dates below.)
