The reference to Achy Breaky Heart sums it up nicely. I used to feel I had to make excuses for playing country music but now I embrace the fact that my music most definitely encompasses Americana and Country sounds. My song 'Another English…

Hi Steve:
Thanks for the details! I'll check out your music. I look forward to it. In August (7,8,9) I'll be posting two-to-three times per day for ND from Chicago's Lollapalooza Festival, including a review of the Neko Case show whom I've never seen live. In my real job I work at a PBS TV station. I mainly do political programs but I also produce and host a music performance and interview program called the 30 Minute Music Hour. We feature mid-western music acts and the occasional national band that comes through the area. All of our programs are archived to watch here:
http://www.wpt.org/wisconsinchannel/music.cfm

If you have a few minutes to sample the program, and given your interest in Americana, I want to point you toward a few episodes by name including; Pieta Brown (Greg Brown's daughter), Pat MacDonald, The Get Rites, Haley Bonar, Blake Thomas and, youbetcha--Robbie Fulks (whose 10 year old son, Preston, I dragged onto the set during the interview)!

If you like the show share it with your fellow Englishmen (and women)!
Take care,
Andy
