Mark Lammie replied to declan culliton's discussion 'Christmas Albums?'
I love Christmas music and consider myself as some what of a connoisseur. And because I abide by my own self imposed rule of never breaking out the collection until after Thanksgiving, I never get tired of it. Here are a few of what I deem the best…

I've been a big fan of Jim Lauderdale since his first album, "Planet of Love." Finally got a chance to see him live when he did a free solo show this past fall in Memphis.

Hey, I know that bass fiddle player. He's Johnny Sciascia, who used to play with the Tarbox Ramblers. Great song BTW. I'm  looking forward to the album.

I bought that first album back in 1990, and the next 2 as well. My wife and I saw him play at the Belly-up in Solano Beach, Ca when Marty toured with Jimmie Dale Gilmore. What a great show! As Jimmie Dale said of them both, "We're just too…

Mark Lammie replied to Easy Ed's discussion 'Used CD or File Sharing: What's The Difference?'
Used records stores are represented on Amazon. They just aren't credited. This is the word I heard from a credible record store owner in Toledo, Ohio. Amazon isn't the bad guy here.

I like the in Dog years! I really cant tell ya. Chattanooga was a long pit stop. LOL! JJs usually get out of town bands and I really think there are only two people really worth even seeing here (that perform on a regular basis). Pee Wee More and Channing Wilson ...they were in the band called the rounders. T Bones has music also. There are about 5 other songwriters I like here, but for bands...no one. -BAC
