'Introducing Townes Van Zandt Via The Great Unknown'

‘Introducing Townes Van Zandt Via The Great Unknown’ is an album, which pretty much does what it says on the tin: It introduces one of the greatest songwriters/singers ever, via 19 artists, who though they happen to be amazing, float miles away from the mainstream. On the not-so-unknown end of the Unknown scale, this album features:J. There is this nice size revival of Townes Van Zant going on. I figure Steve Earle has something to do with it.  Covers Galore!   It's very nice to hear that music getting out there to a new generation of listeners.  Tis also nice that a bunch of time tested fans gain exposure to the new blood.  Seems like a win/win.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment on my wall… I have been so busy lately that some of these replies are slow in coming and I apologize to anyone that I did not reply to in a timely manner… I am really enjoying No Depression and will try to respond quickly to questions and comments in the future… Thanks again and I welcome feedback regarding Honky Tonk Happy Hour…
