Who wants to go to Wakarusa?
THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. Congratulations to TaMara Edens and Bryan Masters, who have each won a trip to Wakarusa 2009! Thanks for entering!
Now in its sixth year, the Wakarusa music and camping festival is a four-day affair in Ozark, Arkansas, featuring more than 100 bands and artists on seven stages. This year’s line-up features a wide array of artists ranging in style and popularity from the Yonder Mountain Stringband to up-and-comers like Langhorne Slim and Samantha Crain & the Midnight Shivers. (A full-lineup is available on the Wakarusa website.)
We’re teaming up with Wakarusa this year to give away two pairs of tickets (with camping) to the 2009 Wakarusa festival, taking place June 4-7, 2009, at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Ark.
To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post about a previous experience you’ve had at Wakarusa and/or any of the following bands: Railroad Earth, Yonder Mountain Stringband, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Langhorne Slim, Joe Purdy, and Samantha Crain & the Midnight Shivers, Lucero, Split Lip, Blue Mountain, Hoots and Hellmouth. The field will be open for one week, closing at 12 a.m. PST on April 20, with the winners being announced later that same day.
You must be able to attend the festival and will be responsible for your own transportation. Good luck. Go forth and comment!
