I’d heard of Nico Vega before, but hadn’t listened taken a listen to this band. Then I was watching the new movie “Answers to Nothing” yesterday which features singer Aja Volkman and I was hooked. Here a couple of many great videos I found. The first takes the hard rockin’ “Beast” and makes it sound like an old blues and gospel song. Shot in a pawn house in Toledo, and apparently a very cold one.
The second is an impromptu cover – or partial cover anyway – of “House of the Rising Sun.” They may not finish it, but trust me, it’s worth listening to what you can get.
