Tribute for Another Underated guitarist, Tom Crain
Tom Crain was a guitar player and songwriter who was awesome. He was Charlie Daniels right hand man for 20 albums. He wrote songs like “In America”, “Cumberland Mountain Number 9”. He sort of had the bluegrass, acoustic side to him, but he and Charlie could rival Duane and Dickey when it came to those sweet dual guitar leads. He died in his sleep at the age of 59. Cause of death has not been established yet.
I will remember him as a guy that made me want to play, a guitarist that had his own tone and as Charlie would say, a darn good cowboy. God Bless Tommy Crain and his family.
