The word starts with a C and ends with death
In December of 2009 I made an appointment to see my doctor. I had a reocurring pain in my lower left back. Having had a kidney stone years before, I was certain that is what I have now. After a brief discussion, he assured me it wasn’t a kidney stone and asked if I had a prostate exam recently. Yes I had! Only two months previously … he wanted to do another (my thought was hell no, but I said sure why not).
I’m going to fast forward thru some things here (you can write me personaly if you want to discuss details) Okay here we go Fast Forward

>Today! At The moment it appears im 100% Cancer Free. But I came face to face with my life, my passion, my choices, and my desires. I made a decision to get back to Songwriting, get back to Performing, get back to my love of Words & Music. It doesn’t matter at all where this part of my musical journey leads, it only matter that I choose to get back on the train and chase that ever illusive dream that I share with tens of thousands.
In January of 2010 I made my first appearance as a Singer/Songwriter – Performer at a House Concert hosted by Terry & Wanda Seay, in Franklin TN. They are a great couple who really love the “Boys and Girls” who make the music on Music Row. I have since done 3 other House Concerts (for crowds of 60 to 80 each time), three local Open Mic Sessions and have begun to write again.
That “pain” that started it all .. is not a symptom of Prostate Cancer and has never reoccured.
I count my blessings daily. My greatest pleasure comes from the simplest concept. If my words, my music, emotionally connects with one person ~ I’ve done my job.
