Saturday was a huge day for me at Pickthon. I saw twice as many bands as I did either of the other days, tough, of course, I still saw only a fraction of what the festival had to offer. Included in the gallery are: Town Mountain, Elliot Brood, Red Stick Ramblers (both in the Workshop Barn earlier in the day and for their main stage set later that night), Stone River Boys, Richmond Fontaine, Chatham County Line, Cotton Jones, Roadside Graves, Fruit Bats, Black Prairie (get a load of the Annalisa’s phonofiddle!!), Punch Brothers, and the Heartless Bastards to close out the main stage that night. I had never seen any of these groups live before, and I was not disappointed at any point in the day. In fact, I was so glued to the main stage that I never made it to the Woods Stage, much to my everlasting shame.
