Beck, M. Ward, Elvis Costello, the Band’s Robbie Robertson, and Lucinda Williams all recorded new songs for the soundtrack to the second season of HBO’s True Blood. The Stone Temple Pilots contributed an unreleased oldie, and the album also features classic jams from Bob Dylan, the 13th Floor Elevators, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Chuck Prophet, Eels and more.
