**Editor’s Note: Patterson Hood of Drive-By Truckers (whose album English Oceans finished at number six in our annual ND Readers Poll) asked us to share his favorite albums of 2014, and how could we say no? So, here’s an enhanced list to which he added Song of the Year, movies, reissues, and other superlatives.
