Mountain Jam 2011 Announced
(Blurt Online) Radio Woodstock and Warren Haynes (Gov’t Mule, The Allman Brothers Band have announced the seventh annual Mountain Jam Music Festival (MountainJam.com) for June 2-5 at Hunter Mountain, in Hunter, NY.
Gov’t Mule will headline Mountain Jam for the seventh consecutive year on Saturday, June 4. Gov’t Mule’s two-set performance at Mountain Jam VII will be one of only a few select appearances for the group in 2011 – Haynes plans to release a solo album in May and will be concentrating on touring the Warren Haynes Band, which debuted in December at the annual Haynes Christmas Jam. The WHB will make its debut northeast festival appearance, headlining on Friday, June 3.
“It’s been great to watch Mountain Jam grow over the last seven years from a one-day concert to a multi-day, destination event,” says Haynes. “I’m really looking forward to this year’s line-up and to performing with both Gov’t Mule and the Warren Haynes Band.”
