Christmas time is near and at Maverick we’re working hard as ever to get the new issue (February) to print between the Christmas break and New Year! However, I’m pleased to report I get a five day break this year which will be amazing! So the New Year – well, what can I say? It’s destined to be a great year for Maverick Magazine. Not only do we see the 100th issue to print in the coming year but we are also expanding the team with the addition of Emma Endersby who will be working part time with us, allowing me to cover more of the marketing side of things. We continue to gain new subscribers, and new advertisers and build year on year. So we’re feeling very positive about the coming year, along with the 2010 Maverick Festival and gigs starting in the New Year from the Breeze, the new Maverick venue for Monday night shows in Maidstone.
The February issue will be going to print featuring Patty Loveless on the cover, accompanied by Leddra Chapman, The Floe, The Bittersweets, Roger Clyne, Madison Violet, Blackheart, Thea Gilmore, Hey Negrita and many more wonderful artists. So make sure you watch out for that issue in the New Year!
We continue to add new content to the website so make sure you take a look as I added loads of content over the weekend. We hope you enjoy!
