    I was reading JC Shepard’s post about Justin Townes Earle and have to agree. He’s extremely talented and a deft songwriter. I have always been a fan of the “no production school of production” that, for example, Guy Clark employs (I’m not even sure he uses any reverb!). Midnight at the Movies does have a little more polish than Good Life but it is still kept in check and the set’s closer – ‘Here We Go Again’ is just impeccable. I interviewed Justin just after ‘Good Life’ came out and he played me a couple of songs so thought I’d stick a link to it. I was sick as a dog at the time with a high fever – a little fact that I neglected to mention so as not to scare him off. Anyway, if you want it, here ’tis:
