Jack Ingram takes ‘Seeing Stars’ (with Patty Griffin) to late-night TV Oct. 5
Award-winning singer/songwriter Jack Ingram will debut his new single, the critically acclaimed ballad dubbed “Seeing Stars,” on late-night TV come Oct. 5 when he visits The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
The stirring ballad is the current release from his latest album, Big Dreams & High Hopes, which was penned by Ingram, the owner of the 2008 Academy of Country Music’s Top New Male Vocalist prize, and Grammy winner Chris Thompkins.
In the hands of country-radio programmers for nearly a week now, “Seeing Stars” also boasts the vocal presence of Ingram’s longtime pal, Americana music’s Patty Griffin, on the ethereal cut.
Regarding the song, the Texas-born Ingram recently told CMT, “The relationship with God or with Jesus or with anybody that you follow religiously–it seems like we’re all guilty of only keeping that relationship up when we’re really in need.”
