IMAGI-BLOG: WAKARUSA 2013
Groovin’ in to it’s 10th annual festival, Wakarusa 2013 is bound to muster up an intoxicating pulse to soothe your desire for a serene summer escapade. Getting lost within the combination of nature and music, ranging from jam bands all the way to electronic, it’s advised to make an appearance at the four day venture. Whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, Mulberry Mountain will surely tickle your fancy.
I have many festivals under my belt, but this is my first time attending Waka. What better way to get the coverage of the gathering than through a virgin perception. I plan to capture the split second recreation and convert it into a virtual gazette for You and stimulate the senses you didn’t even know you had.
Being a writer, and an avid festi-goer this would be the pirates booty of my year. I would go mad for the opportunity to represent No Depression and to let my expression marinate into the readers. The audience will encounter my vivid passion through words, though creative snapshots may fill their yearning. Influencing others is a passion in itself, so this opportunity really is a dream.
Writing is the fire that keeps my heart pumping. I’ve never had the chance to write for a company, production, or a wide range of folks in general. I need this moment, this time to express the soul that is within not just Wakarusa but in music festivals all together. Blogging for No Depression will be outstanding, but I’m also ready to hear the memorable quotes of the people and discover the desire for seeing some of the amazing artists that will be at Waka. Not only will I get to inform the public about things such as how the staff endures with the 20,000+, but it will also be informing for myself to find out the circulation behind the scenes. And for all the excitement my words fail to hit, the photographs are sure to unveil all the unseen shadows.
Dedication, imagination, and sociability is the prime ground for the selection of yours truly. My descriptive nature will far surpass the simplicity of “the band played well.” Along with giving your site grand notability during Wakarusa’s 2013, the social media will be blown up with the bee’s knees of tweets and FB posts from sunrise to sunset. Artists won’t be able to slip away unnoticed without first conversing with I, and a few snapshots to get a true behind the scene story. Blogs from me will be far from the norm.
But none of this will be possible on a public standing without the help of No Depression. I want the world to visualize my words and feel the beat of my photos. I will go far beyond expectations and take You on the ride of an imaginative voyage that will provide ND readers with the experience of Wakarusa 2013 right from their PC.
I will anticipate every moment waiting to hear that I can blog for the 10th Anniversary of Wakarusa!
