Henry Chadwick is Kicking Out the Jams on New Single

Henry Chadwick returns with his impressive new single “Bag of Chips,” which has us head over heels once again for the emerging indie artist. Taken from his upcoming release titled “Marlin Fisher,” out August 31, this is the first taste of what Chadwick has to offer in 2018. The track is ambitious and bold, and a nice follow up to his debut EP, “Guest at Home,” which impressed us through and through.Teaming up on the new record with legendary producer, Rob Schnapf, who has worked with Elliot Smith, Kurt Vile, Beck and The Vines to name a few, Henry is about to share his most impressive breath of work to date. “Rob has been a part of some of my favorite records, and I had a feeling that he would be able to help take my songs where I wanted them to go,” he shares.

In late 2017 Henry entered the studio with Rob and engineer, Brian Rosemeyer, and emerged with Henry’s most personal and ambitious effort to date. Henry acted as a multi-instrumentalist again, playing drums, guitar, bass and keys on the record. The 11-song album is named after Henry’s two middle names, Marlin Fisher. The songs have been brought to life for the stage with his 4-piece band, consisting of Eddie Curzon (guitar), Zach Scott (bass) and Anders Cochran (drums). Henry’s music dances between genres and time zones, citing influences old and new (The Kinks, T. Rex, The Strokes, Courtney Barnett, etc.) while maintaining a consistent sound that is all his own. He makes catchy, thoughtful and energetic music with a laid back Californian style and charm which will have you head over heels for the emerging artist.
