We were fortunate enough to be sitting beside Jim Bennett at the No Depression Music Festival, who was on site taking photos of the event for the Seattle Weekly. Fortunate in a number of respects: first, because he recognized that we were totally unprepared for the event and required sustenance which he generously provided in the form of pieces of pineapple and cherries and other fruits he had stashed away in his well stocked larder; second, because he was a seriously cool dude and an extremely affable fellow; third, because he was joined later in the day by his equally cool and affable wife and sister-in-law who merely added to the good vibe; and lastly, because he took some amazing photos of the event.
