(Jambase.com) Bobby Bare Jr. and Blue Giant. kick off the “Carpool America” tour tonight in Memphis, TN. Blue Giant will open the shows and serve as his back up band along with Bare’s drummer Matt Martin. The 24-city tour will kick start in Memphis, TN on August 24 and end in Minneapolis on October 9. Bare also has dates wtih Justin Townes Earle and Drive-By Truckers. Bare will release his new album A Storm-A Tree-My Mother’s Head on August 31, 2010.
