    Rich Gordon, a long-time follower of country-rock / alt-country / Americana music, is a member of Twangdogs, a Chicago band whose motto is "country, rock 'n' roll and everything in between."  (That's him singing the John Mellencamp vocal in "Your Life is Now" in this Twangdogs performance: http://vimeo.com/70633260.) His day job: professor of interactive journalism at Northwestern University.
