Jessie's pioneering career includes stops at radio stations in Pittsburgh, New York, Orlando, Nashville, and Washington DC, where she was the first female PD hired at XM Radio to create the Americana Channel, X Country. She coordinated XM's broadcasts at Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic, Farm Aid, IBMA, The Americana Honors And Awards, SXSW, and MusicFest at Steamboat Springs. Previously she served as Americana Editor at Gavin, while hosting the nationally syndicated show "This Week in Americana." In a varied career of 45 years, she has programmed radio, done promotion, production, PR, talent buying, and artist management and consulting. Scott is a founding member of the Americana Music Association, where she has been a continuous member of the board, and where she served as President for 2008 and 2009. She is a 2007 Leadership Music Alumnus. She founded video music discovery website Music Fog in 2009, and has been Music Director and midday host at Sun Radio, in Austin, TX since 2012.
