An incomplete list of upcoming new releases
One thing that many readers here have asked for is a list of upcoming new releases. Seeing that this is a community website with not a huge staff, it’s just something that hasn’t been tackled. This morning I saw a link from a friend to a site called Direct Current. It’s somewhat of an information clearinghouse for labels and distributors, so I looked around and cut/pasted their list below. It’s sadly not genre specific nor hardly even complete. But I found enough stuff of interest to share today. If this thing works, you should be able to click on the artists name to get more info. If anyone knows of a better site that I could liberate (note the sixties lexicon) better information from, please share. One more thing…on the Jayhawks site they have free downloads of two interesting things: a complete recent show from Minneapolis that is simply amazing, and one song from their new record.
