To celebrate 100 years of Woody Guthrie, Dangerbyrds recorded a rocking version of "This Land is Your Land" (as heard on Talenthouse's "Cover an American Classic for Neil Young"). Appropriately they were in the studio on May 24th, Bob Dylan's birthday.
Dangerbyrds are an obscure band, misfits in today's rock 'n' roll circus. They play only when the feel is right. They don't like studio tricks, they don't like the perfect take and they usually record without the net.
They like spontaneity, they like the vibrant freshness of the very first takes and the true spirit of r'n'r.
They don't like over-rehearsing. Actually they do not rehearse at all: they just gather in a studio when the time is right and music calls them.
They push "record" and they go, out there in their own space to follow the Muse.
They are raw and they are fresh. Enjoy!
