Incredible musical performance, matched by the quality of the video which, true to the spirit of those times, doesn't call attention to itself except in how it tunes into the hearts and souls of the musicians. The only comparable work I've seen in recent years is Jonathan Demme's film of Neil Young and his band, "Heart of Gold", a masterpiece that's all about the band and the music, not a filmmaker trying to be cool and showing off with cheap tricks.
