Eliza Beth was a young girl who we learned about in our travels.  She passed in 1845, at the tender age of 14 from consumption (later to be known as TB).  The Charlemont Inn in western Massachusetts is were we learned that she lingers in the room, often playing tricks on the guest residents of Room 23.  We stayed the night in the room, and altho we had no encounter with the child, others had.    This is our lament to a young girl taken too early in her life.
