Sometimes the very best songs are ones that are beautiful in their simplicity and sung with much heart and soul -- the ears just want to listen again and again. Yeah, it's a sad melody. But, I'm on my third listen now. Sera Cahoone and her musicians just laid down a poignant tale and photographed a piece of someone else's lifetime of loneliness. The garments hanging silent on the clothesline at the end are symbolic of a life that once was and may be no more. But, I could be wrong....it's my interpretation. Sera has told a story many people can relate to and may still be living today.
