I addressed an innocent error in the writing credits as this was penned by Richard Manuel and Bob Dylan together at Big Pink where they took turns adding lines on an old typewriter in the kitchen of Big Pink as Garth was taping what became the Basement Tapes...  The horns on this are great they really did great things with John Simon's horn arrangements for this classic that changed my life Eric Clapton's and American music forever...remember for those of us on to The Band from the very beginning this was the first thing we heard and it blew us away..!  Greg and The Allman Bros. do a really great job here the best cover of it I've ever heard not by The Band my old dear friends..
