Good afternoon. and thanks for the great welcome. I have been meaning to join for a while, finally did it. I am very active with WMNF Radio, Tampa. WMNF just added a 2 hour strip(Monday-Friday) Americana music called "traffic jam"- drive time.

Thanks for the welcome...been aware of No Depression since the 90's. Arty Hill, who I am looking forward to seeing 2/16, made me aware of the site.

Always glad to hear about any "dance hall" style concerts in the DC metro. The only thing I miss about Dallas in the country station in Plano if it  still exists and "Sons of Hermann Hall".

Thanks Lucca. What a great group of knowledgeable, likeminded people and forum for discussion. I don't know if I went about my first post correctly. I posted a song I wrote and since it was about Townes Van Zandt, I started a discussion item in the TVZ group to bring it to that groups attention. One status line said I joined the group , another status said I posted a song, another status said I started a discussion, another status said my song was featured... Is that how it should work? How can I get an overview that drings all the pieces together for me. Thanks!

Good to be here. I've been a Gram fan for a very long time now, even to the point that I have a bunch of bootleg live sessions of the Fallen Angels. Sound quality not great, but Gram's there (and so is Emmy, of course).
