Thanks Will.  Tomorrow is my Mom's memorial service and we made a CD of all the music she liked. George Jones, Faron Young, Conway Twitty, Buck Owens, Jack Greene, etc...  One of her favorite songs was Statue of a fool.

I can't personally differentiate between "country" and Americana (roots music). But I think "Your Cheating Heart", is one of the best representations of pure country music.

It does make me sick when I hear Taylor Swift...called,country.

   She lives on Lake Champlain now, but we're moving to Maine in a year or two. We'll certainly be bringing some Gram  with us, both recorded and on my guitar...

The guys are from the Central Valley of California and have the goal to play the Crystal Pallace in Bakersfield (Buck Owens), funny enough.

Just wanted to tell you that I actually wrote an article for ND a while back titled New Group PC & The Angels Of Death Trending, but was taken off because I had already written a short blurb introducing them. Understandable that it looks like blatant advertising.

Also, PC recorded in an project a year back called Buffalo Jack And The Parlor Snakes (not yet out either) with more swamp rockabilly and Burrito country. There's a little on my blog about it.

About my blogs, you may take and use what ever you want. It's what I'm about. No restrictions, so borrow, take, as you desire. If you want to know anything else, let me know. I met the PC and he is very nice. Mellow too!

no worries and cheers, we had a blast!  we're working a new ep, for next year, so keep an eye out, around the fall.

No doubt you were familiar with The New Soft Shoe as Cleveland's finest that plays the entire Gram songbook ... but there are many singer/songwriters in the area that could take part in a full blown GP festival/event with assistance from Mr. Kirby.  Just keep us both posted ....
