...is the slogan for WVCR 88.3 here in the Capital Region and that is never more true than when Jimmy Barrett's "Kaleidoscope" airs on Friday mornings from 9-11am. A typical playlist will run the gamut from an obscure blues to garage rock to electronica, with stops for jazz or country & western. Jimmy has been doing radio in the area for decades on various outlets and the depth of his musical knowledge is only matched by his enthusiasm for new discoveries. I was honored recently to be offered a guest dj slot on the program and had a blast sharing some of my current faves with Jim and his audience.
