Jim Morrison

The Refugees "Jellicho Highway" and "Unbound."

The Refugees are Cindy Bullens, Wendy Waldman, and Deborah Holland. They quietly released what I think is one of the Top Ten albums of the year. I'm not sure why they've not gotten wider recognition and play, especially given their considerable backgrounds. Bullens played with Dylan and Elton, then had a fine solo career. Waldman has long been a solo act and a writer of hits. And Holland was the songwriter and singer in Animal Logic with Stanley Clarke and Stewart Copeland.

Here are two cuts from a recent house concert.

Glad you posted this. I agree...this is a good one. The three-part harmonies are exceptional.
