Town Park is ready. Warner Field waits. Final preparations are on at Mary Illium campground. Since Saturday, a steady stream of campers have been setting up their temporary homes in the usually serene and peaceful campgrounds in and around Telluride.

The stage has gone from a wooden shell to a festival-ready showcase. The sound tower stands ready in the extended outfield of a baseball diamond. This morning, sound checks filled the air. The outfield of the adjacent ball field is now a small tent city. There’s an air of anticipation as campers prepare their shuttle and tarp strategies for the opening of the festival grounds at 10am tomorrow.

For the last several days, impromptu picking circles as well as performances by acoustic and bluegrass bands have occurred in various sections of the campgrounds. New friendships have been formed and old acquaintances renewed.

The last two and a half days have been without rain and camp-life is hitting a comfortable stride. The real show starts tomorrow.

From the looks of the photos it looks like you are one of the fortunate individuals to plan ahead and attend this year's Telluride music festival. Seeing, as you are down there on the ground I was wondering if you had heard any word of this year's Telluride music festival possibly being webcast out there on the world wide web?

I inquire about such info because my brother sent me a text message, that I checked too late by the way, about the Bonnaroo music festival having a web cast showing what acts were happening on the main stage.

The local Telluride radio station KOTO should be streaming on the web, regards.
