Americana and roots music - No Depression

The Americana and roots music authority

I'd just like everyone who'd enjoyed or even found useful my writing in No Depression magazine, bookazine and online over the years to know that my long -brewing book on the legacy and influence of Jimmie Rodgers in country, rock, folk, blues, western and American pop in general, Meeting Jimmie Rodgers: How America's Original Roots Music Hero Changed the Pop Sounds of a Century, is out and shipping, from places like Amazon.com and the publisher, Oxford University Press.

Since we so often mentioned that it would eventually be out, I figure no one will mind the little plug.

Congratulations, Barry.

I think that Rodgers' importance in 20th century American music is poorly understood today, and I'm sure that your book will do much to change that.
