No Depression

Live chat with Justin Townes Earle today postponed to 3:45 pm Pacific

You may have noticed that little chat function at the bottom of the page, and you may have noticed it doesn't get a whole lot of action. We're looking to change that by hosting some live chats with great artists. The first one is postponed to today, May 17, at 3:45pm Pacific time. You are cordially invited to join us right here on this site to chat with Justin Townes Earle. Please feel free to help us spread the word, tell your friends, random strangers you meet at shows, anyone you think may be interested.

If you'd like to participate in the chat (or just sit back and read it), all you have to do is show up and log in. If you don't yet have a No Depression community account, this may be a good time to join up. Come on in and get acquainted with things. We'd love to have you.

If you have questions for Justin and want to make sure they're included in the chat, feel free to leave them as comments on this blog post.

justin, the new cd sounds a little less commericial, more stripped in musicians and deeper in feeling? just a new cd, or a whole lot different view of the music?

do you get along in nashville? it really is your hometown isn;t it?

I heard you mention at one of your concerts that you laid down a track for an upcoming John Prine tribute album. What song(s) are you doing on it? Thank you.

You seem like the hardest touring guy out there-- what are the high points, and low points of touring for you?

We missed you at Shakori Hills in April. Any future plans to attend?

What are some of your favorite songs to cover?

If you could duet with anyone dead or alive, who would be your dream partner?

That chat has been postponed until 3:45 after Justin's in-store at the Queen Anne Silver Platters. Join us there at 3pm if you can and if not tune in at 3:45 for the live chat.

love YOUR songs, and your covers, but would love to hear some HW Sr.
Any chance of you covering 'I Saw the Light?
And would a Shanghai/China tour be doable in the next, say, year?
