Great list - and some of these I'm not aware of - but now need to check out!

…love your list…many familiar names for records/shows I've enjoyed this year…but no comment on a "list" would be legitimate without an addition, right? I nominate T Hardy Morris 'Audition Tapes'…thanks for another great year of ND, Kyla…cheers!

I Stumbled upon Kurt Vile's CD and was blown away by a piece of music that defies categorization.  Great work Kyla.

Interesting list. There are a couple on there I don't know and I need to check out. Thanks for highlighting them.

BTW, "Song for Zula" is one of my fave songs of the year.

Great list, Kyla!  It's especially nice to see that DOWN FELL THE DOVES made your Top Ten.  I've been riding the Amanda Shires bandwagon since CARRYING LIGHTNING came out in 2011; DFTD is another fantastic album and solidifies Ms. Shires(or Mrs. Isbell) as one of the premier singer-songwriters on the scene today.
