Jumping Hot Club Christmas Radio Show 2013

As I've said before earlier this year I hosted an Americana/Roots radio show on local Community Radio Station - Hive; based in Jarrow, Tyneside, England.

The original concept was based around local Americana and Roots music promoters The Jumping Hot Club's gig guide; but anyone who has read my reviews will know I have a very eclectic musical taste; so boundaries were pushed in all directions - giving me a large and loyal following.

Sadly a change in day jobs meant I had to give up; but managed to put together a Remembrance Day Show in November and another two hour show to celebrate my favourite Holiday of the year - Christmas.

The playlist is a mad mix of traditional and exclusive songs recorded especially for the show by an assortment of artists that will bring a smile to the faces of No Depression readers.

So....depending on your faith; Seasons Greetings/Merry Christmas/Joyeaux Noel

I am not one for Christmas at all but my niece asked if I could host a family dinner at my place.
I'm going to play this during the pre dinner time....come time to sit down and eat, then I'll put on some none holiday music.
Will let you know how they like your picks.

hahaha.......you are a cruel and insensitive man if you inflicted this on your family! All I hope is someone liked something - MERRY CHRISTMAS

Well, the dinner is over except for the dishes.  The music wasn't the main topic of conversation but I did get a few "Who is this?" and "I've always liked this person's rendition of this".

Everybody loved your accent!

I streamed your show on Christmas and your accent made it seem even more festive somehow!  Great playlist. Thanks.
