Eight shows in late October early November. Featuring the astounding Bryan Sutton, Tim O'Brien, Nick Forster and Pete Wernick. This outfit rarely plays more than a few festivals per year so catch them when they stop at your local honky tonk.
Lucky me. I live with in a few miles of Lexington Ma. I saw these guys at the Grey-Fox
Festival and what a treat. Tim O'Brien is just the master of strings and impeccable
vocals/timing. Don't want to short change the rest of the band, just not that familiar with them.
Should be a great little tour. We need to be reminded of those great songs of the past.

A rare early video showing Wendell's guitar without its customary fringe! Thanks! I was fortunate enough to catch Red & the boys at Merlefest on their last tour with Slade on bass. Col. Mel was in control, and there were cameos from not only Elmo (Sam Bush) but also another Otto cousin (Darol Anger) on fiddles - that's right, Red!
