I saw the first U.S. show of the tour of John Doe & The Sadies last night in Cambridge, Mass. at TT the Bears. It was a fun night with Doe doing most of the leads. Sadies play darn well. Both Goods were hot. Sarah Borges had a real strong opening set. She's funny, and sings and plays well. Review is at www.countrystandardtime.com in the concert section.
