I was just tooling around the interwebs searching for info about the guy in that video: singer-songwriter Grant Olsen - one-half of Seattle-based duo Arthur & Yu who are, by the way, obviously well worth checking out. They're yet another indication that SubPop may be seeking to become a full-fledged Americana label. Between Fleet Foxes, Iron & Wine, Sera Cahoone, and these guys, they're on the right track if you ask me.

Anyway, I instead came upon Provo, Utah-based singer-songwriter Grant Olsen. He doesn't seem to be the guy by the same name who I was looking for, but his songs are pretty good. Quiet and subtle, like those first few Iron & Wine EPs before Sam Beam brought in a full band. Some of the tunes are a smidge too understated and elusive for my taste, but some of them are darn nice.

I wonder what he and Seattle's Grant Olsen could do if they took some time to co-write a few tunes. The internet is full of happy mistakes.

Kim, thanks for the kind words. Glad you found my music and enjoyed it. Let me know if you'd like me to send you any of it. Also, it would definitely be cool to work with Seattle Grant one of these days. I've played shows with some of his NW friends before, but never met him. Anyhow, cheers.
