Best of the year on Lost Highway? (Win free music!)

**NOTE: This contest is now closed. Congratulations to Bob Goldstein, who will be receiving a nice stack of CDs in the mail from Lost Highway. Thanks to everyone who entered, and stay tuned for more. Happy holidays!

We've already asked for a more formal vote from you as to what the best albums of 2009 were. Now, here's a (perhaps) more fun proposition.

Lost Highway wants to give away a collection of some of their finest releases from 2009 to one lucky winner here on NoDepression.com. All you have to do is vote for your favorite Lost Highway release from this year. (Check the Lost Highway website for a full listing of their artists.)

The rules: simply toss your vote into the comments on this blog post. Entries via Twitter and Facebook will not be considered. If you care to review your album of choice, or include a longer explanation as to why you voted for that particular one, you are welcome to do so in a blog post of your own, but it must be created on this site and include "Lost Highway Contest" in the title (this makes it easy for us to find when it's time to choose a winner). This contest will run from today, December 8, 2009, through 11:59 p.m. PST on Monday, December 14. The winner will be notified and announced on December 15 via this site and Twitter. (Follow us on Twitter and we'll keep you abreast of everything happening here.)

One winner will be chosen at random to receive a copy of each of the following albums. Click on the "hear this" link to listen.

Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears: Self-titled EP (hear this)

Morrissey: Years of Refusal (hear this)

Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears: Tell ‘Em What Your Name Is! (hear this)

Willie Nelson: Lost Highway (hear this)

Robert Earl Keen: The Rose Hotel (hear this)

Good luck!
