Loudon Temple Furnace Mountain Lands Bob Harris Radio Session

Are you kidding me??? Planet Bluegrass ROCKS!!!! I just got back from the Telluride Bluegrass Festival for the first time and WOW! is all I can say. What fun!!! The set yesterday afternoon with Bela Fleck, Zakir Hussain and Edgar Meyer typifies the outstanding quality of musicianship that saturates this festival. The extraordinary and surprising band mutations have taken a serious uptick. First it was the Jerry Douglas, Viktor Krauss, Omar Hakim trio mysteriously turning into a quintet with the addition of Alex Hargreaves and Bryan Sutton for a version of Edgar Meyer's "Unfolding". The past few days have included several incredible moments. Unexpected guest artists, wild cover tunes, chance encounters and unforgettable visuals are around every corner in this part of the San Juan Mountains.
