Brooklyn/New York

Brooklyn (and the rest of New York's) musical community is pretty wild and far reaching, and it's roots scene is a vibrant part of that. Keep us and fellow roots fans up to date with what's happening and what's playing in Brooklyn/NYC.

Lovelies of Psychedelic Folk, Glam Rock

I sure do love me some classic '60s/'70 psychedelica folk glam rock. Love love love me some of that. Particularly the Skiffle inspired T.Rex and Syd Barret. Swoon. Hell, particularly the British psychedelica sound! This morning, Children of the Revolution hummed in my ears, sending me into a tizzy flashback into (what I think was) my past life, and got me building myself another jango station devoted to these two and others. So, here I am fulfilling this crave by putting these guys all in one…See More
