The Broadsides

The Broadsides is a band from Auckland, New Zealand. Formed out of an equal passion for music and music that is inspired by the deep American South.

Musically, The Broadsides is somewhat unclassifiable as alternative country, bluegrass, rockabilly, gypsy and gothic americana can be dissected from their music.

The band consists of Alan Meharry; guitar, vocals, David Ward; banjo, guitar and backing vocals, David Khan; fiddle, guitar, mandolin, dobro and backing vocals, Etienne Harris; bullfiddle, jews harp and artsy tomfoolery and Ben Michelson; drums and trucking.
